Young Wonder

Heralded by critics as one to watch in 2013, Young Wonder creates electronic music with big beats, euphoric synths and eerily beautiful vocals and are taking the live circuit by storm with appearances at Electric Picnic as well as supporting Mercury Award winners Alt-J on their latest UK tour.

Moving from strength to strength, Young Wonder released its self-titled EP on the 14th April last year and continues to make a serious imprint on the music scene in both Ireland and the UK. Consisting of Ian Ring and Rachel Koeman, the Cork-based duo was named Hot Press ‘One’s to Watch’ in 2013. Endorsed by Radio 1 DJ’s Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart, the band has recently toured with Alt J and its reputation in the UK is continuing to grow at speed. THIS IS ME explores the inspiration and ambition behind Young Wonder, using striking video and a haunting soundtrack to tell the young band’s story so far.
