Ansley makes the perfect watch face. Our favourite is big 42mm face in silver with a luscious black leather strap. Ansley is the only watchmaker who makes the whole watch right here in Ireland. We love their concept of buying a face with interchangeable straps for all our many different moods. They come in a variety of leather colours and metal jewellery mesh straps.
Electronic Sheep are consistently bringing out the most incredible colour combinations every season. We’ve chosen the Artist Flower Head as one of our 5 favourites for June because of the surreal cowboy atmosphere that graces the small triangle scarf. Lucía has done a great interpretation of it here. It’s available from our store in a navy, white and lime green.
Veja are our absolute favourite sneaker brand. They are a French brand making contemporary, cool styles in all the best colours. Using low-chrome leathers, organic cottons and wild rubber from the Amazonian rainforest, these shoes are the most environmentally friendly you’ll find anywhere. This brand works with farmers and makers in Brazil to sustain a fair income for many families there. Lucía has illustrated our Esplar in petale pink.
Ros Duke has put together the most incredible collection of super soft light cashmeres that make the Irish summer much more bareable. Perfect for those breezy days in between the erratic sunshine we tend to get, Ros’s breton beauties have us dreaming of lounging on yachts sipping many fruity cocktails.
We can’t get enough of Beatriz Palacios and her amazing movable art jewellery. She has made the most exquisite stylish art-jewellery-toys for her SS17 collection entitled EYE/HEART. The overarching inspiration for EYE/HEART has been the Surrealist art movement. Elsa Schiaparelli’s ghost is clearly present in the flirtations eyelash and winking eyes as well as the anatomical hearts. Bea’s collection this season also features a new selection of solid gold pieces, including the moebius shapes and glittering gems she is so well known for.
All these gorgeous gems are available in the [ MADE ] Store & Gallery on the top floor of the Powerscourt Townhouse, or online at the web store.
